The number to dial for any medical emergency is 061, which offers both medical and ambulance services.
The number to dial for healthcare, fire or rescue services, public safety and civil defence is 112 within Spain and the European Union. Mobile phones without SIM cards can make free 112 calls.
Dial 092 to contact the Police and 088 for Mossos d’Esquadra (Catalan police for emergencies and traffic incidents). These numbers are for both information and reporting incidents.
Dial 010 for information on council services, facilities, activities, etc. This number can also be for some Barcelona City Council administrative procedures.
